UrbanSpace Debuts New Outdoor Food Market

UrbanSpace has done it again! Grab your friends and your appetites and head to the month long food fest in New York’s famous Garment District. From 39th to 41st streets on Broadway you’ll find a creative blend of vendors that are taking part in this event that is part greenmarket and part country fair.  But you’ll want to hurry because this pop-up only runs from September 15th – October 17th, 2014.

Since we went in-between lunch and dinner, we focused on the sweetness and the cheesy offerings. While it’s impossible to eat at all the amazing vendors in one go, here’s the few of the culinary delights we sampled and enjoyed.

Mad. Sq. Eats Returns to NYC

Urban Spaces brings pop up to Flatiron through October 3rd.

Last week we had the pleasure of attending opening day of Mad. Sq. Eats. It’s open daily from 11am-9pm and features amazing items such as agave wine margaritas, local craft beer and wine, braised pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs with kimchi and seaweed flakes, and fresh coconut water, and macaron ice cream sandwiches. Curated by UrbanSpace, and featuring 30 of New York’s most enterprising chefs this is definitely not something you’re going to want to miss!

Newly-opened Calle Dão Now Open for Lunch

Incredible Fusion of Latin and Asian flavors available in Midtown.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of dining at the Chinese/Cuban fusion Calle Dão for lunch, and it’s not a meal we will soon forget. The decor transported us right into a Cuban hacienda. This ambiance of laid-back Latin elegance with big beautiful ceiling fans was a lovely oasis to come into from the hot New York heat.
